Ok... I know I haven't updated this in some time. All I have to say is this software kicks ass. For my application, I do need to upgrade to full blown Commando version which gives me total control. Support from Sniper is awesome. Phone calls to their tech support (when I have had to call them) have been great. These guys know their stuff and go out of their way to help you.

Special Forces would be an ideal package for somebody running bolt ons on a stock motor, stock motor with blower/turbo, stock motor with nitrous.

With my high compression and nitrous it still works good, but to get the most out of the motor I will need Commando. I got to give a big thumbs up to Willie Lynch of Dirty Dirty Racing (http://www.dirtydirtyracing.com/) . He is helping me with an issue I am having when decelerating. If you decide to purchase Sniper tuning software, I would definitely recommend buying from him. Any questions you have let me know.

How would you compare it to the ever-popular Xcal 3?

I think the Sniper is definitely a more hands on deal than the Xcal3. With the Sniper, you can also hook it up to your laptop and get real time data logging too. The nice thing is, everything you do with the Sniper is a safe tune.

What kind of adjustments can you make?  What I mean is, are there custom adjustments or is it just a package tune?

When I get a chance I will take some screen shots and post them up.

Sorry I am so slow in getting screen shots posted. Here they are.

This pic shows the first screen after loading the software and reading your stock tune. You will load it up then start the tuning process

Not bad.  Can you manually adjust things like fuel trim?  Or no?

You can as far as low, mid and high rpm fuel goes. Then you also have a global fuel setting.
